Macallan Edition No.6 is the final release of Macallan’s annual limited edition series, inspired by the legendary River Spey in Scotland, paying tribute to the guardians of nature. This whisky is the result of a collaboration with Macallan’s fishing guide, the two-century-old fly-fishing brand Hardy, and the Atlantic Salmon Trust, which has been protecting salmon for over fifty years. This whisky was carefully crafted by Macallan whisky maker Steven Bremner, who selected five different oak casks, including Tevasa American oak casks, José Miguel Martin European oak casks, Tevasa European oak casks, Vasyma American oak casks, and special sherry casks. The combination of these oak casks creates a rich flavor profile with multiple sensory experiences. The whisky has a captivating deep amber color, aromatic complexity, and a lingering taste that continues to evolve on the palate.

Macallan Edition No.6 features a multi-layered aroma with fresh fruits, nutmeg, ginger, chocolate, toffee, vanilla, and oak. On the palate, the whisky reveals flavors of plum and sweet orange, balanced with spices like cinnamon and nutmeg, oak notes, toffee, and oatmeal. The finish is long, with fresh fruit and spices, transitioning into a creamy chocolate and toasted oat flavor, offering an exceptional drinking experience.
