Select Oak Casks: The Source of Unique Flavors

The Macallan Aera is matured in the finest American and European oak casks. These casks undergo a natural air-drying process for four years before being seasoned in Spanish sherry for two years, finally arriving in Scotland for maturation. This lengthy process imparts the whisky with its distinctive character.

Tasting Notes: A Multi-layered Aroma and Palate

The Macallan Aera showcases a natural honey color. Its aroma is a harmonious blend of vanilla, sweet marmalade, orange peel, and citrus sweetness. The palate is warm and inviting, offering notes of chocolate, sweet dried fruits, and honey, followed by a sweet and warm medium to long finish.
