This Pinot Noir from Giant Steps, located in Australia’s Yarra Valley, was conceived by founder Phil Sexton who searched out vineyards with elevation, old soils, slopes, and cool nighttime temperatures to grow quality Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Since 2003, winemaker Steve Flamsteed has produced single-vineyard wines, selecting grapes that best reflect the climate and soil, using gravity flow and minimal fining and filtration to preserve purity and elegance.

Flavor Profile and Taste Exploration
Mature red and dark fruit aromas such as cherry, raspberry, and blackberry are accompanied by spices, chocolate, dried herbs, and orange marmalade. Tannins are silky and smooth, with a lingering, mouth-watering finish that reflects Yarra Valley’s cool nights and mineral-rich soils. Alcohol by volume is 13.5%, and bottle size is 750ml.
