This whisky marks Bunnahabhain Distillery's first release at 40% ABV, utilizing soft filtration technology to perfectly blend the characteristics of sherry and bourbon casks. As a Taiwan-exclusive edition, Bunnahabhain Calm Bay is globally limited and available solely in the Taiwanese market, reflecting the distillery's appreciation for Taiwanese whisky enthusiasts.
Established in 1881, Bunnahabhain Distillery is located on the northeastern tip of Scotland's Islay, renowned for producing high-quality single malt whiskies. The name "Calm Bay" derives from the Gaelic "Bagh Cluin," meaning "calm bay," phonetically similar to "cheers," symbolizing the distillery's blend of tradition and innovation, and its salute to whisky lovers.
